PRO Roofing was very patient with my questions and when I was concerned there may have been some damage to wiring they were quick to respond and check appropriately (nothing on their end). They were very communicative, I submitted a request for a quote over the weekend and they responded to my request for a quote within 24 hours and the quote was provided within 48 hours. We ended up hiring them and they were able to schedule us within 2 weeks. Unfortunately, summer rains slowed our install, but they provided us regular updates about the delays. In addition, they provided us on updates on items outside the scope of our quote, so when the bill came, it was very clear what we were paying for, which I appreciate. How do I know if I need a new roof, or can it just be repaired?

Generally speaking, it will take between 2-4 days to actually replace your roof. Of course, time is needed for doing the inspection and providing an estimate along with a few other logistical details.

Metal

Residential metal roofing is primarily made of steel or aluminum. Metal roofing for residential applications is very lightweight with the heaviest product weighing about 1.5 pounds per square foot when installed.

Shingles

Architectural roofing shingles are among the highest quality roofing products made. Traditionally, they are composed of a heavy fiber glass mat base and ceramic-coated mineral granules that are tightly embedded in carefully refined, water-resistant asphalt.

Flat/Low-slope

Low-slope roofs, more commonly referred to as flat roofs, come in a variety of system types. Low-slope roofs are available in Modified Bitumen and Single Ply systems. Each system type has it’s place. The decision on which system to use should be based more on the use of the building, and not primarily on initial cost.
